Mapay was founded in 1989, although it was not until 1996 that it was established as we know it today.

Initially our main industrial activity was focused on the production of wooden frames for the local upholstery furniture market in the area. Little by Little we opened new markets and we were introduced in the wooden legs world. Nowadays we also produce handles and any other kind of wooden product destined to rest.
